Level 1 Avalanche Class & Backcountry Riding Package (5-day)
The 5-day Avalanche Class and Backcountry Riding package consists of an AIARE Level 1 Avalanche class plus 2 days of guided backcountry riding. Get your avalanche training then continue on for more riding and mentorship with our instructors to apply your skills and shred some pow! The avalanche class portion of the package will take place in Jackson, WY and Togwotee Pass, WY - while the backcountry riding days will continue on Togwotee Pass, WY or in the Grey's River and McCoy Creek areas outside Alpine, WY.
- snowmobile or snow bike (reliable and appropriate for mountain riding)
- avalanche rescue gear (beacon, shovel, probe)
- backpack (airbag pack optional)
- DOT approved helmet
- the ability to ride off trail in varied terrain and deep snow
- a Wyoming State trails sticker
Make Jackson, WY* your home base for the first 3-days of class for field sessions on Togwotee Pass then graduate to 2 full days of guided riding on either Togwotee Pass or outside Alpine, WY.
